GREEN!

Guess what I am going to post today?.....
Yes: GREEN pictures! (Nothing I'm opposed to, since I LOVE green :) )
I had fun looking through our photography files and choosing the green-est pictures to show you. Enjoy!
And have a good day. This morning in Missouri, the air was so thick with green fog! Very appropriate since it looked Irish. :)

Ahhh.....a world of GREEN! :) (June morning, Missouri)

A Hummer- one of Sam's great shots from a few years ago.

I call this ''bug on spiny leaf'', since I don't quite know what kind of bug it is! But it is a very neat shot, isn't it? Taken several years ago by Sam.

Another neat picture by Sam

The classic *award-winning*  frog picture by Sam! I love it. :)
And it is for sale as a high-quality photo card right here or here

An amazingly toned shot from Kansas travels, 2007! :)

A favorite ''Irish'' shot of Grotto Falls, Tennessee. For sale as card as well- click here
Ooh...I miss Tennessee! :)

Another one from Kansas

And another from Grotto Falls, TN!

Haha! Isn't this an amazing creature! Discovered in the dark of night in our pond....
just kidding :) But I wish!
Sam took this pic. at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, TN

Spider view! Sam took this neat macro shot

Another damselfly picture. I don't know why I say ''another''! Only we have a grand variety and amount of them here on our computer. :) I'm glad I like damselflies!

Dragonfly by our pond

Sunlit ''pussy-willows'' (as we dubbed these tickly plants) picture by Sam

Hummingbird picture by Sam- aren't they special little birds?

This makes me so happy! This is what I see from my favorite raised bed in my garden...at the end of the day, when I am busily finishing my little tasks such as planting peas, I look up and see this view! God is so good to bless us with such treasures as lovely views here and there in our world!
(picture taken a couple years ago)

Our Mum took this picture in South Carolina last year!

Green Zinnia! A greenlovers dream flower!

A pale green zinnia

A yellow sulphur butterfly! Picture by our newest amazing photographer- 13-year old Élodie.

Another by Élodie ;) LOVE it!
And it is for sale here

Ahh...I love dewdrops, raindrops, water droplets! Picture by Élodie as well. (she's good!)
Also for sale here

The quality is amazing- you'd never think their camera is a tiny, automatic thing, but it is!

Green zinnias in my garden :)

Isn't this a sweet family of geese? Mama, Papa and 2 babies. :)
For sale here

Ooh...A wonderful ''Pendragon'' picture! I love this one as well! (I love stones and old buildings and walls...)
And you know what.....I think Élodie took it as well, only she was 9 when she took it! Haha. :)

Another favorite picture from the Fort Bellefontaine park near us. (where Pendragon was filmed....)
Élodie took this when she was nine as well. :)

A classic view while in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. I think everyone takes this picture. But I like it. :)

Under-leaf view!

Delicate Aspen leaves in Colorado. I LOVE the sound of aspen leaves shaking in the wind.
Nikola took this picture. (2007)

An *award-winning* picture by Sam.  A massive bullfrog in our pond!

What gets better than a hummingbird against a green, green, green background?

Views from Tennessee which also look so Irish!

If you have the chance...we'd love to hear which pictures struck you as favorites! :)
We love feedback from readers!

And lastly....do not forget WHO made all this beauty around us, and who blesses us every day by letting us enjoy it....

Praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD from the heavens, praise him in the heights above.
Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars.

Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he commanded and they were created.
He set them in place forever and ever; he gave a decree that will never pass away.

Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and maidens, old men and children.

Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens. He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his saints, of Israel, the people close to his heart

Praise the LORD

(Psalm 148)

Hey Marjo!

Thanks for your comment. :) Ooh, I love this very green post! Lovely pictures--hey, and thanks for the link! I shall check that out. :]

BTW--in regards to your question, here is a disclaimer that I meant to put on but just realized never did:

DISCLAIMER: that quote goes for guys and girls, just so ya know--I'll listen to an Irish lass just as long as an Irish lad. And I really never call guys "cute--" I just thought it was a pretty funny quote. :)

..I didn't mean to come across as someone who would be thinking that way, I simply adore Irish accents and that was the first quote I came across that referenced to them. :) But thank you--I really meant to put that disclaimer on, because yes, I would be disgusted with myself if I truly thought that way! :P

Have a blessed day, my dear!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Breanna, Kate and Lucia!

Yes, 'twas I, Marjolaine, who wrote and posted the post! :)

(I am actually the only one who ''mans'' this blog currently. That's why it is so silent.)

Well, I am pleased that you girls liked the pictures. :)
